Stone Floor Polishing

 

We also have been diamond polishing stone floors for over a decade.  Stone floors should never be waxed to produce a shine as stone is porous and might be permanently damaged if waxed.  The stone is unable to “breathe” and could crack or stain.  Also, the application of very harsh, environmentally-damaging wax strippers could also permanently stain marble/granite/terrazzo floors.  They should be polished using proper diamond polishing pads. 

Some stone care companies will push acid crystallization of your stone floors; this method is a short-cut to properly honing and polishing the floor.  Crystallization transforms the floor into something it was never intended to be….all to provide a short-term shine to a floor without the costly polishing that these type of floors require.
